Yes feel free to apply! We would like to inform you that it is generally recommended to have the orthopaedic exam, as this will increase your ranking in our evaluation. In case you will take your exam between our deadline and the start of our program, please mention this situation in your application.

The program starts on Monday at 08:00 am, so we recommend to arrive on Sunday afternoon/evening. It will end on Friday afternoon around 3 pm after the final oral exam, so you can plan your departure on Friday afternoon/evening.

A language certificate is not required, as we trust the standards of the Matura/A levels

If you are from an EU member state also a valid ID is okay! For other countries we prefer passports.

The accommodation will be provided by the hospital and is located in the nurses dormitory only 5 minutes walking from the hospital. You will have a single room, fully equipped with a standard sized bed, wardrobe, table, chairs and a sink. Shared bathrooms on the corridor.

Unfortunately the connection with public transport is not the best and probably it is necessary to change trains. If you take a plane to Austria we recommend to go to Vienna Airport as the flights to Vienna are the cheapest normally. You can check out https://www.oebb.at/en/ in order to see the train schedules, the train station at Stolzalpe is called “Murau“. We will then pick you up from the station. Parking facilities are provided for free and we generally recommend to go by car.

The fees cover accommodation at the hospital from Sunday to Friday and food from Monday morning to Friday midday. The costs for the journey and for visa (if needed) must be covered by yourself. Please note that the participation fee is only refundable up to 2 months before the start of the program. We apologise for any inconvenience.

Please check the following points: -you filled out all obligatory points (marked with *) -you didn´t cross the limit of the maximum allowed words (e.g. 100 words) -you uploaded the files in the right file format (e.g. pdf) -check the size of the pdf files.Please try to reduce the amount of data if it is too high! Maximum 15MB -after pressing “send” you have good internet connection and waited for at least 3 minutes. After successful registration the page should show something like “form has been successfully submitted”

Only elected students will have the possibility to add an internship at the Orthopaedic & Trauma Department of the Stolzalpe hospital 2 weeks before or after the program. Please keep in mind that all additional costs during this period have to be covered by yourself and that we can not provide transportation to or from the venue.
